FITNESS CLASSES

Mondays at 6:30pm, and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Level of Difficulty: All Levels Welcome.

I developed this program for athletes who like to train right as much as they like to train hard. The techniques in this class are designed to burn calories, increase cardiovascular capacity and strength, and result in muscle definition without adding bulk. Using 3 and 5 lb. free weights, high energy routines tighten and lengthen muscles through a variety of exercises performed with simple dance steps. One number may include a series of push-ups, squat jumps and tricep presses while another features shoulder flies and bicep curls in combination with a kick ball change or grapevine. An intermediate level class, each student is given the attention needed to learn body resistance and abdominal core focus to ensure that every move is safe and effective.

This class incorporates more than a decade of study and trials to create a strength training program which delivers full body results in as little as two sessions a week. Using hand weights, resistance bands, and a variety of plank, push up and core exercises, students receive a complete body workout beginning with light resistance and working to burnout. Not a minute is spared during this one-hour class.

Inspired by Barre, this class uses a combination of isometric movements to tone and strengthen, improve balance and keep muscles pliable. 

This class uses the PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) method and a combination of isometric movements to tone, strengthen, and keep muscles pliable. In addition, this class includes both muscle and deep fascia connective tissue stretch techniques intended to relieve joint pain, sore muscles and back, knee and shoulder challenges along with significantly improving flexibility.
