Satjeet Kaur (Tammy Lee) teaches Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, specializing in yoga for chronic illness, addictions, pre-natal and stress relief. She also plays the symphonic gong in support of deep, vibrational healing and release as part of the Kundalini tradition.
Satjeet graduated from Dartmouth College in 1990, and has been practicing Hatha and other forms of yoga since 1991. Following a series of spinal injuries in her early 20’s, she discovered the benefits of the science of Kundalini yoga, which is one of the most ancient forms of yoga, combining mantra (sound), mudra (hand position), pranayam (breath work), asana (posture/movement) and meditation in every class for a balanced outcome. She has also attended numerous classes, workshops, retreats and conferences with experienced yogis including Rodney Yee, Shiva Rae, Seane Corn, John Friend, Gary Kraftsaw, Mukunda Styles, Rod Stryker, Sarah Powers, and others. She completed the 200-hour teacher training program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yoga Bhajan® in 2007 with Hari Kaur Khalsa at the Guru Ram Das Ashram in Millis, Massachusetts. She has also completed advanced teacher trainings in The Khalsa Way® Pregnancy Yoga with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Super Health Yoga to overcome addictive behaviors with Mukta Kaur Khalsa, and Bringing Yoga and Meditation into Healthcare Settings with Shanti Shanti Kaur. Satjeet was an active participant in the Urban Zen pilot program for Integrative Yoga Therapy (2007), and she is a current member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
