Class Description: SLOW YOGA... Traditional Hatha Yoga, working with slow flows and sustained postures builds core strength and develops greater range of flexibility. Slowing down our movements in order to bring mindful attention to the feeling of stretch and the quality of breath helps unwind the body's habituated patterns of holding. This gives the body/mind new information about what is possible. As we reconnect with the simple joy of movement, we deepen our sense of well-being.
