Acroyoga

Acroyoga blends dynamic acrobatics and harmonious yoga into a playful mix of partner yoga. In acroyoga the ”base” lies on the ground and supports the ”flyer” in the air with hands and feet through different poses. Acroyoga focuses on finding harmony and balance with another person. Acroyoga cultivates trust and non-verbal communication
while encouraging exploration of the body’s abilities with a playful mind. In the beginners classes you will learn the basics of both flying and basing. We will practice different acroyoga poses and learn how to combine them into acroyoga flows. You can join the class with or without a partner. You don’t need experience in yoga or acroyoga - falling, laughing and learning by trial and error are an important part of the class!

Community Yoga Class

The intention of this class is to increase access and frequency of this community's yoga practice by making it very affordable. Please help to open the doors to those who may have shied away in the past, or who have not had access to Yoga due to it's cost. Invite your friends, family and neighbors to this very welcoming class, and spread the word in your own way throughout your community. I believe that a Yoga practice can, and is, raising the vibration of this place we call home. The more people practicing, the better life we can ALL live, each and every day. Our destiny is bliss, let's manifest our destiny together!

Iyengar Yoga

Inyengar yoga focuses on alignment and precision in the poses. BKS Iyengar believes that the body is the doorway into the soul. Through absolute attention to the small actions in the body, one's mind is more easily cleared and the student becomes very present. This is a dynamic class moving through the full range of asanas; we commence with a flow of standing postures, often move through backbends/twists/forward bends, and do inversions. While the class is very active, it is also suitable for beginners willing to challenge themselves because the Iyengar method is very instructive on teaching proper alignment in all the asanas and presenting variations of poses that every body type can achieve.

Rise and Shine Vinyasa with Lucy

An invigorating, flowing practice to awaken the senses, build heat and energize you for the day ahead. This class will stretch and strengthen muscles while emphasizing breath awareness and proper alignment.
