At High Mountain Hall, staff and teachers are making more fitness options available to adults of all ages and abilities. We believe that taking care of one's body is a personal responsibility which improves the quality of individual lives and the collective health of our community; and, we believe that participation in healthful activities should be in a beautiful space and full of joy.

The camaraderie and fellowship in a shared pursuit can enrich lives in a holistic way: new relationships develop around healthful activities. In addition, the Hall is available to organizations or individuals wishing to utilize the space for their individual workshops, meetings or events

Meet the Teachers at High Mountain Hall.

Korinn Scattoloni

When Korinn was born she landed in a quadruple pirouette with a twinkle in her eye.  At the age of two she leaped from house top to house top and at the age of four practiced dance 25 hours a day.  When she was 9 the doctor informed her parents that her hips would never be properly attached to her torso.  From there she Cha Cha’d to California, Salsa’d to Utah, Merengue’d to Washington, then Tangoed to Delaware and Pennsylvania, and eventually skipped to Maine where she has assisted numerous adults and children in the mid coast for years in achieving their fitness as well as personal goals.  Korinn is the pioneer of Zumba for the midcoast and the creator of the legendary ‘100 beads to fitness’ program.

Kristi Williamson

Kristi Williamson bridges the worlds of yoga and art. Her passion for creative expansion, artistic expression, and conscious evolution provide the foundation for her teachings. She is an established Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga teacher who has taught throughout the U.S. including the United Nations in NYC, Kripalu and Omega Institute. Kristi  is a transformational performance artist as well as a devotional musician. She took a one year spiritual pilgrimage in India exploring music, dance and yoga. Kristi recently completed a year long intensive studying expressive movement/art therapy with dance pioneer Anna Halprin at Tamalpa Institute in California.  She is a transformational theater teacher/director for children and adults. Kristi completed a B.F.A in Musical Theater from Syracuse University.

Michele DiGirolamo

Michele has been practicing yoga and the healing arts since 1989. She has found wonderful amazing teachers along the way and gleaned jewels of wisdom from many traditions. Michele is a graduate of the New England Institute of Massage, a Kripalu Yoga Instructor and a Reiki Master. She also completed a two year certificate in Energy Medicine with Alberto Villloldo and maintains a practice with her two fabulous Native American spiritual teachers.

Michele weaves elements of these teachings into her class as well as her practice.Michele’s vision is to hold a space of unconditional love and compassion, helping people to find a greater sense of peace. When we bring this to the yoga matt and our daily lives it creates a ripple effect without end, impacting all who come into contact with it.

Nell Dailey

Nell has been coaching female athletes in a variety of sports for 15 years.  In doing so, she found enthusiasm for strength training and conditioning.  Recently, she became am ISSA certified Fitness Trainer.  She takes advantage of the great outdoor recreation in this area with her family and teaches at Camden Hills Regional High School.

Priyadarshi

Priyadarshi is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with people affected by traumas great and small. He is oriented to the unique healing needs of an individual’s spiritual path. Priyadarshi received his M.S.W. from the University of Connecticut. In the late seventies he received his name and permission to teach meditation from Muni Sushil Kumarji (a Jain Monk and Acharya). Priyadarshi was also affiliated with the Zen Bei Butokukai for twenty years and studied Tai Chi, Qi Gong and other meditative and martial arts under Brian Ricci, Sensei and Richard Kim, O’Sensei (a Shingon Buddhist priest).
